There is nothing wrong with BET. Im so fucking sick of people saying that.. BET is actually there for a REASON. You know because we dont really have many other predominantly black television for this generation. WSHH is where all the ignorance lies. and Funny how…
BET originaly was meant to empower our people but overtime it exed all of the informative programs i.e BET News for starters now all they have is 7 hours (I’m exaggerating) of 106 and Park and other shows that really have no business being on the air. Not to mention that we do not even own BET …..yea its owned by Viacom (the same owners of VH1 and MTV) hence why all of the programs(for the most part) are just the ‘Black’ versions of the programs you find on those channels. Atleast channels like Centric and TvOne have positive programs for our people EMPOWERING our people….just my two cents.
